Sunnyside Pool

The Sunnyside Swimming Pool in Atlantic, Iowa features lap lanes for swimmers, a diving board, a zero entry pool with a toddler play area and baby pool, plus shaded lounge seating and a splash pad nearby. It serves as a central summer gathering spot for families and hosts swim lessons, toddler story times, and a competitive summer swim team through the Nishna Valley YMCA.

The facility is owned by the City of Atlantic & maintained by the Atlantic Parks & Recreation Department while daily operations, programming, staffing, and swim instruction are led by the YMCA’s aquatics team.
