The Utility Board of Trustees is responsible for the operation of the municipally owned water and electric utilities. The Board consists of five members who are appointed by the Mayor, subject to Council approval.
Board meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the meeting room at Atlantic Municipal Utilities, 15 West 3rd street. The members serve six year staggered terms.

In the event of a city wide emergency an EOC will be set up via NIMS protocol. Numbers will be relayed to resident in those instances. This general number 243-2204 notifies the community center for general traffic.
